These are delicious!! Sort of a Monkey Bread type dish. Quick, easy and super healthy. Ok, I lied, not so healthy, but hey you gotta splurge every once in a while, right?? 😛
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Uncooked Refrigerated Biscuits (pic above took 2 1/2 jr. sized)
- 1 Stick of Butter
- 1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 Cup White Granulated Sugar
- Caramel Ice Cream Topping
- Chopped Nuts (any nuts you like)
Preheat oven to 375. Make cinnamon and sugar mixture in a bowl. In another bowl melt a stick of butter in the microwave (about 1 min in my microwave). Take biscuits and break apart into halves or thirds, depending on size of biscuits (above are jr. biscuits broken into halves) and roll into little balls. Take the ball, dip it and roll it in melted butter and then in the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Place in baking dish. Repeat until pan is filled (I used a glass pie pan) drizzle with some or all of left over butter and then with caramel topping. Sprinkle with desired amount of nuts.
Cook uncovered for 15-20 mins. (I did 15 mins. but I like the insides to be slightly gooey in the center) Remove from oven, drizzle top with just a tad bit more caramel, and let sit for 5 mins. Serve. Enjoy. These are really good served at room temperature later on if there are any leftovers…
