Raise your hand if you love dip! I know I love dip. Any kind of dip. I like to dip crackers or chips or pretzels. I like dip with sour cream and hamburger. I am also a big fan of sauerkraut and I love sriracha. Throw all that together and we have this simple sriracha hamburger and sauerkraut dip. This dip is quick, foolproof and it packs just a bit of a kick. A gentle nudge of flavor that the entire gathering will love.
Simple Sriracha Sauerkraut Dip with Hamburger Recipe
1 (15 oz) can of sauerkraut (drained)
1 lb browned and crumbled hamburger
16 oz Sour Cream
16 oz Picante Sauce
2 Tbsp Sriracha (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
In small Crock-Pot mix sauerkraut, sour cream, picante sauce and sriracha. While those flavors are melding, brown and crumble the hamburger. Drain and add to slow cooker. Mix and let heat, and ENJOY!
Looking for a more Ruben-esque dip with a spicy twist? Try toasting those tiny slices of Rye bread, then top with the mixture for bite sized appetizer perfection. These could be considered a meal if you plan it right.
