There is nothing better than homegrown vegetables. You know exactly what you’re getting and exactly what you’re NOT getting, as it were. For this super quick, super easy recipe you’ll combine a few staple ingredients and chow down.
Make sure you get a little of the juice on every spoonful! The secret is in the sauce. 😉
THE BEST Cucumber Salad Recipe
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 onion
- 1/4 Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup white or red wine vinegar
- 2 TBL vegetable oil
- 2-3 TBL sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dill weed
Slice your cucumbers and onions, put in large bowl/container and set aside. In separate bowl combine mayo, vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper in bowl and using a whisk or spoon stir until smooth. Pour dressing over vegetables, gently stir and then sprinkle the dill weed over top right before you’re ready to serve. Enjoy!
