teresa decker says April 1, 2020 at 9:41 am Years ago, an older lady helped me make a shawl that we used this stitch...or very much looks like it. As the shawl progressed, it started out with the chain, and then it decreased as we crocheted the pattern. We finished with a triangular shawl and added fringe. Could this be possible with this stitch? I have tried to figure out how we did it because I did not write anything down...it was easy to remember at the time, but over the years, I had forgotten how to do the decrease. Any help for me? Thank you, Teresa

Hi, I have purchased Good Shawl Cardigan pattern, but as I crochet from different yarn, I would really need the measurements, especialy when it goes to the armholes, because it is not unclear how big should the peace be when I am starting them. I think it would be ok, if you just measure the current cardigan and send me. Because now I have purchased the pattern which can be easily read from the kids pattern for free, it is useless. Many thanks Zuzana

I've gotten 3 orders for this gorgeous and stylish design of yours. Your pattern states that Lionbrand Mandela is good for the striped version but says nothing about the solid version. My customers want dark charcoal gray. Is I LOVE THIS YARN by Hobby Lobby ok to use!? Thx and God bless! Your designs are gorgeous!

Hi Donna! You could use any 3/dk/sport weight yarn. If you like I Love This Yarn, they do have a sport weight selection. Hope this helps!

I paid 4.00 for the eggcelent apron pattern on 12/25. I have not received either the pattern or a refund. I have emailed you several times with no response. I originally thought I was purchasing a finished product but after rereading your website I found I was purchasing a pattern. Since I do not crochet I would like a refund. Whether you received my emails or not, I should have received the pattern by now. Since I have not received the pattern and I paid you on 12/25 please refund me the 4.00 I paid for the pattern. Thank you.

Hello, I did a search in my email history for your email address and I do not have any in my history so I'm not sure your emails came through? I also do not have any conversations on Etsy under your name. When purchased, the file is automatically sent to your Etsy account by Etsy. I see that the pattern has been delivered, but not downloaded on your end.

Hi. I posted a question with my other email and not sure if you got it. I just started a C2C afgan and I'm ready to change colors. I know how to change colors but with this pattern it looks like there may be a different way. Can you please instruct me. Thanks.

Hi, the strap instructions are further down on the pattern. You'll chain 75, then start single crocheting across the top of the apron, then chain 76 and work your way back. Then you'll reinforce it by folding it over. I can help via email as well!

Loved the pattern. Its all done except for the construction. Question when you attach first egg row, is the apron on the right or wrong side. do you have a video for construction? that would really make the project a little easier.

Hi Patti, I don't have a video of it, but I laid the bottom pocket down so that the seam is on the inside of the pocket, then flip it up to make the dividers. Hope that helps!

If anyone ever tells you that "Old dogs can't learn new tricks", just tell they your fan Adelle has learned many from your blog!! Every time I get email from you I learn something new and very useful. I'm crocheting an ear warmer for a co-worker and because of you and your excellent teaching my rows are even and the edges are perfect. I've crocheted for 55 out of 61 years of my life and have learned more here then any other time before. And to think, I thought I was stuck as the "Queen of the Granny square" . Thank you for all you've given me. Please keep up your brilliant work. Your sister crocheted and friend.....Adelle

Hopefully, it will get more kids reading. That being said, I love the Joker beanie. I have a Batman follower in my house. Will you be making the Batman Beanie soon? Thank you!

Help! I have been wrestling with the Dragon Tears fingerless gloves pattern all afternoon and I can't work out what I am doing wrong. Problem starts at the end of row 2 - when I join after the 12th v-st into the top of the 1st v-st there is a little tag of 2 chain left from row 1. I have tried slip stitching down the first leg of the 1st v-stitch to join in this chain so then working row three from the row 1 end. Whether I work down from row 2 (leaving the 2 chain tag) or up from row 1 the scales are just curled up, not lying flat at all. I am sure it is something obvious that I am just not seeing. Can you help, please?

Think the little break to write my question has cleared my head - 6 scales not 12! - now they lie flat. Still got a little 2 chain tag though. I'll sort it out at the end.

I absolutely loved your site. I was able to get some great deals and used the coupon.com link on your page to get all printables I needed, even if the deal came from somewhere else. Unfortunately, since the change and Paul taking over I have not been able to find ANY deals on your site. I go to dealdetectingdiva.com, if I am lucky and get to the correct site deals are not shown only the available coupons and articles. No match-ups, no unadvertised deals, can not find ANYTHING. Most of the time it does not even take me to the correct site, usually brings me to hearthookhome. I am really disappointed and having been over-paying a lot lately. I will use krazycouponlady.com from now on. She generally did not have all the deals you were finding previously, but some are better than none at this point!
