For those of that hate it, keep on scrolling, sister cause this recipe is ALL about sauerkraut- and noodles, or gnocchi. Two ingredients, and Paul and I usually make this on those nights that the kids eat before we do – if I’m running late or they just want a sandwich etc.

Last night was that night, and I documented. So easy, so good.

What you’ll need:

  • Sauerkraut of your choice
  • Gnocchi
  • Dinner Sausage (optional)

What you’ll do:

First you’ll want to boil the gnocchi – as the package directs. This should only take about 3 minutes, or until they start to float. Throw the kraut in a skillet, make a hole in the middle and throw the cooked gnocchi in, you’re going to fry them on medium or medium-high heat. Watch them closely as they fry.

You want the gnocchi to be seared, and the sauerkraut will be crispy when you’re finished. Oh you guys, this is one of my favorite (and easiest and cheapest) dinners to make. YUMM-O!

  5. I was very hesitant to try this but I tried it last night. I topped it with crispy bacon pieces and served it with seasoned chicken. Best meal ever - my husband and his father are chefs and hubby's telling his dad about this one! Thank you so much for posting!
