For this pattern we are using a combination of Single Crochet and Double Crochet stitches. One row we will do single crochet, then the next we’ll do a mix of double crochet and chains. This blanket is a great one to whip up while watching Netflix, or listening to an audiobook. (Read: How to Listen to Audiobooks for Free!)

  1. I love this blanket! If I wanted to make a smaller version, how many chains would I start with? Thank you (and thank you for continuing to make such great patterns).
    1. I also would love to know the stitch count. I do a lot of charity crocheting and this would be beautiful for it. Thanks
      1. The pattern repeat is in multiples of 20...if your gauge matches that of the pattern each repeat is 5". So subtract 20 chains for every 5" less wide you would like to make. I hope this helps!
  2. I think I’m going to love this pattern. It would help me with color decisions to see photos of how this looks in different stripe patterns the effect of skinnier stripes of color vs. the thicker stripes. Either way, my list of future projects just got longer!
  3. Just wondering what weight Brava yarn this is. I got on the Knitpicks site and it says Bravo worsted comes in different weights so just wondering, is this Number 4? I would love to make the blanket!
  4. I would love to see a picture of the whole blanket, it looks gorgeous, but I can only see parts of it. Any chance you can add a full size picture?
