We are ready for the EIGHTH cloth in our 2020 Wash Cloth series. This cloth pattern features the Forked Half Double Crochet stitch, which gives the cloths great texture for scrubbing and cleaning. (Although I don’t particularly recommend either – ha!)
Forked Stitch Cloth
These cloths are an excellent addition to our wash cloth set. This stitch is nice and dense, but does not use up a whole bunch of yarn. In fact, these three cloths use about the same – or less – than some of the other cloths we’ve crocheted so far this year.
Cloth sizes:
5.5″ x 5.5″ – great for a face cloth or for showering
11″ x 11″ – average washcloth size
18″ x 12″ – dish drying mat, place mat, dusting cloth etc.
Materials:
Dishie Cotton (Fiesta Red colorway pictured)
-approx. 32 yards for small
-approx. 133 yards for medium
-approx. 248 yards for large
In order to make all three of these cloths, I used just over two skeins of the Dishie cotton yarn.
