And did you know you can whip up your own at just a fraction of the cost? You sure can, friend! When I was testing my recipe, I cooked up some chicken fingers, and put my kiddos to work taste testing. Their response upon first tasting? “Oh man, Mom, this is good!”
For this recipe, all you’ll need is mayonnaise, mustard, a little pepper, honey and vinegar.
Didn’t I say this was easy?
You will need:
2 Tbsp Honey
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
3 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
1 Tbsp Vinegar
Pinch of black pepper

What you’ll do:
Simply mix all ingredients in a bowl, and let chill for a short while in the fridge to thicken up. Then, chow down! Yummay!!
One dish that we love honey mustard in is a copycat from Outback Steakhouse. My husband Paul and I met at Outback while we both worked there. We have a combined nearly 20 years of experience at Outback, so trust me when we know what is good and what is really good. This chicken is one of their most popular dishes.
Grilled up a chicken breast, baste it with the honey mustard, then top with sliced, sauted mushrooms and loads of cheese and bacon. Melt the cheese, and I like to dip mine in ranch dressing.
I know, I know. You could also dip it in the same honey mustard.
OR you could turn the same idea into honey mustard chicken quesadillas. YUMMO!
