I’m a bacon freak. L.O.V.E. me some bacon. I also love green onions and cream cheese and ranch and cheese. The natural conclusion? Bacon Ranch Cheddar Dip. Oh yassssssssss.
This is the PERFECT {quick} dip! Prep time is only about 15 minutes, and it. is. delicious. My only regret? Not using more bacon.
Bacon Ranch Cheddar Cheese Dip:
What you’ll need:
- 1 tub of sour cream
- 1 brick of cream cheese
- 1 packet of dry ranch mix
- approx. 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- approx. 1/2 brick cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 6 slices of cooked, crumbled bacon (the more the merrier)
Directions:
Mix the sour cream, cream cheese, ranch and green onion together until smooth (I use my potato masher) while cooking and then cooling and crumbling the bacon. Shred the cheese, and then mix everything together and you are D.O.N.E.
Chill the dip for at least an hour to let it set. We eat with Ritz or pretzels, and this is a great little appetizer when company visits. If you haven’t yet tried the new Nabisco Good Thins, I love this dip with the poppyseed variety.
Wanna save this for later?
Great for the kiddos too!
I make a double batch because after a few more hours in the fridge this dip gets even more delicious. Then I take it to work and snack on it all week long. Yummo!
