Afternoon Scarf: Free Crochet Pattern

This morning I was getting around, making coffee and checking my calendar when I discovered, to my horror, that what I thought was a reminder was actually a deadline. 😲

When I say that this is an “afternoon scarf” I absolutely mean it. From concept to finished product was only a couple of hours, and I am SO pleased with how this scarf turned out!

If you need to crank out quick gifts for the holidays this year, this pattern is an excellent solution. 😉

I am using Hue + Me yarn from Lion Brand in the “Arrowwood” colorway. Isn’t that F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S?! I love that it only takes one skein, too!

For this pattern we are using the double crochet and the Picot stitch. Super simple, and super squishy! My favorite.

Great for stash busting, and quick to make, this pattern uses just one skein of size 5/Bulky weight yarn. I am in LOVE with the chunk factor of this one, and the color is divine, don’t you think?
