Now, I know there are several direct sales companies that offer great products as well, but I’m going for inexpensive, and using things I already have sitting in my cabinets and in my pantry.
Vinegar: the magic ingredient. Use vinegar in your laundry as a fabric softener or to unclog drains. The true Renaissance Man of your pantry.
For homemade glass cleaner all you need is vinegar, water and rubbing alcohol. Do you have dogs? We have three and you can tell just by looking at the bottom half of our windows. 😐 Kind of embarrassed to show you, but check this ish out. It works!!

Homemade Glass Cleaner Recipes
For a super strength window cleaner, replace the vinegar with ammonia.
Homemade Glass Cleaner:
- 1 cup rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 cup water
Super Strength Homemade Window Cleaner:
- 1 cup rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol
- 1 tablespoon clear (non-sudsing) ammonia
- 1 cup water
Make sure you label your spray bottles sufficiently, and make more as needed.

No. It will freeze. Make the solution, and put it in your freezer. Add alcohol until it no longer freezes.
