Halley’s Fingerless Gloves

Fingerless gloves are perfect for all kinds of activities where you need your fingers free. Typing at work? Check! Crocheting? Check! Heading out in the cold to run errands? Check check!

The Halley’s Gloves are made using the Star Stitch, a wonderful stitch pattern to crochet with a slow color changing yarn like we’re using. These gloves match the newly released Halley’s Keyhole Scarf pattern and you can find a full tutorial for the Star Stitch here.

We are using a yarn called Satura, a sport weight yarn with plenty of yardage – enough to make the pair of gloves and I’m working on a matching headband out of the SAME SKEIN of yarn. Wowza! Grab your favorite color of the yarn here. I can’t wait to see that headband finished. Stay tuned and be sure to hold onto your leftover yarn!

Other yarn choices that would work well for their color changing aspects include Soho Lively Bold yarn, Lion Brand Mandala, or Premier Colorfusion DK. Of course you can make them in a solid color too and they would be fabulous as well!
