Do you have a new baby or needing an extra item to place in a baby shower gift basket? This Baby Bottle Cleaning Brush crochet pattern is perfect!

Baby Bottle Cleaning Brush Pattern

This bottle brush cleaner is available in two different sizes: one for use in small neck baby bottles and for use large neck baby bottles. If you are unsure which you’ll need, stick with the smaller pattern just in case. The larger will fit in a smaller mouth bottle but some finagling will be required. Crochet more, finagle less I always say. 😉

The two sizes of the baby bottle cleaning brush pattern have the same core width. The phalanges, however, are different lengths. To use, insert a butter knife through the sleeve and suds away! Note that this does not have to only baby bottle cleaning brush… it would be great for canning jars and other cups or glasses as well!

Materials for baby bottle cleaning brush:

Cotton yarn
Size G (4mm) crochet hook
Upholstery needle for weaving in ends

Crochet terms and notes:

FLO = front loop only
BLO = back loop only

Start each new row in the same st as join. See all crochet terms explained here.

If you would like the ad-free version of this pattern it is available for a small fee on Ravelry. Thank you!

  1. Just found this pattern and thinking the smaller size might be perfect to clean the internal tube of a food processor blade. I cannot determine what the difference is between the larger and smaller pattern. I know I’m tired but simply do not see any changes. Please help.
  2. Hi Ashlea! I'm confused about round 3 - I don't understand what stitches I am going into the back loop of. When I try, it doesn't look like yours does in your pictures... :( This is such a cute pattern so I hope you can help me make it work! Thank you :)
