Crochet Foundry Summer 2021

Crochet Foundry is a quarterly, digital magazine that is created with the utmost style, class, and sophistication in mind. In every issue I have been blown away by the beauty and elegance of the designs, and I am so proud to announce that I am now included among those ranks! ♥

The Summer 2021 issue of Crochet Foundry magazine is simply stunning. There are NINE designs included and I am in love with all of them. The theme for the 2021 Summer Issue is “sweet treats” and each designer not only contributed a never-before-seen pattern, but also a sweet treat recipe that matches. For mine I have whipped up this super yummy three-tiered parfait.

Example of the Perfect Parfait Tank Top crochet pattern using Comfy Fingering in “White” for Tier 1, “Clarity” for Tier 2, and “Peony” for Tier 3 on a female model standing in front of a window with tall green plants in the background.

Crochet Foundry is a size-inclusive magazine, meaning that all designs included range from sizes XS through 5XL. Inside you’ll find schematics, alternate yarn choices for all designs, stitch legends, and a coupon code for the Furls crochet hooks we used to make the designs.

I designed this tank top using a filet mesh as a “backbone” on the underside. Paired with the three-tiered design it is perfect for allowing air flow in between the layers. The sample I created for the magazine photos was made using Comfy Fingering in “White” for Tier 1, “Clarity” for Tier 2, and “Peony” for Tier 3. I love how feminine this vibe is!

Perfect Parfait Tank

When designing the Perfect Parfait Tank, I wanted a tank top that you didn’t have to wear anything underneath for extra coverage.

I also wanted it to be multi-dimensional and flowy. We are using a fingering weight cotton blend – Comfy Fingering. Included in the magazine are alternative yarn choices.

For the sample that I am modeling here, I used Comfy Fingering in “White” for Tier 1, “Seafoam” for Tier 2, and “Honey” for Tier 3. I love how bright and summery the vibe on this one is!

I love the simple elegance of The Vanilla Frosted Skirt.

Coconut Cupcake Coverup would be great when paired with a tank as modeled, or as a swimsuit coverup as well!

And another favorite of mine – the Boho Pineapple Wrap.

I hope you love the Crochet Foundry magazine as much as I do, and that you’ll make your own version of each of the designs included! Grab your copy here, and check out the past issues as well. All issues continue to be available after publication.
