My youngest graduates high school this month – as a Junior! He worked very hard to graduate early and it goes without saying that I am extremely proud of him. He now works fulltime at the local pizza place and spends a lot of his mornings learning and studying the intricacies of golf. He’s getting up earlier in the day now than he ever did to get ready for school. Haha!

One thing I cherish about my youngest is that he will talk your ear off on any subject he’s passionate about. When I say that I now know more about golf and golfing than I ever thought possible, I mean percentages and angles, wind speeds, slopes, grades, and allllll of that. And to be fair… golf is a great activity and pastime that he will enjoy for the rest of his life.

All that to say… that this month in the 2026 Toy & Game Crochet Series, we’re bringing in the golf lovers with a great set of golf club covers and Cameron helped! This is the 5th installment of this fun series, and I am loving the series so far. There are three sizes included in this golf cover crochet set: small, medium, and large.

I asked Cameron for advice and feedback on my first attempts at the golf cover pattern. I used bobble stitches on the first draft and pretty sure he hated it. His response cracked me up!

And now three versions later we’re both happy with the look, construction, and function of these crocheted golf club covers. Perfect!

For this free pattern we are using an acrylic yarn, I chose Brava Worsted in the Dove heather colorway. I love this yarn for quick projects. It holds up well and there are tons of colors to choose from. You could use any other worsted weight yarn as long as you can meet gauge.

Grab the ad-free, printable version of this pattern on Ravelry, Etsy, or right here in the Heart Hook Home Blog Shop. Thank you!
