One Skein Nesting Bowls Crochet Pattern

This is the final installment of the 2023 One Skein Crochet Series. Hard to believe! This year we have had a dozen fun, chic, quick, and/or useful crochet patterns all requiring one skein of yarn or less. I use my Balaclava every cold morning at the park, and I use my Card Carrier daily, and this Plant Hanger pattern has been the most popular pattern of the YEAR on Heart Hook Home! 😲

I’m a sucker for office supplies. I am always excited to try out new pens, or to buy a new stationary pad, or fun paperclips or notepads. I think I’ll put one in the bathroom to hold Q-Tips, and maybe one of the larger ones on the coffee table to hold peppermints or other candies this season.

For these nesting bowls we are using the Uneven Berry stitch and Dishie cotton yarn. Each bowl has the yardage needed listed, as well as the dimension. Choose which sizes of bowls you make or keep growing the pattern to create larger bowls. This would also be a super cute way to use up cotton scraps in bright, fun colors.

Materials:

Cotton Yarn (Dishie pictured)
-approx. 190 yards for ALL four baskets or (17, 33, 56, 84) yards

Crochet hook in size E/3.5mm

Gauge: unimportant

Finished Sizes: approx. (2″, 3″ 4″, 5″) in diameter

Pattern Notes:

Pattern written using US terms.

The chain at the beginning of the round/row does not count as a stitch.

We are using the Uneven Berry stitch for the body of the bowls. A tutorial for this stitch can be found here.
