Did you know that you can make top-down, raglan style sweaters using Tunisian Crochet? It’s true, and we’re about to dive straight in. Grab your double ended hooks because we’re starting the Tranquil Tunisian Pullover with this free crochet pattern.

Tranquil Tunisian Pullover Pattern

This beautiful, top-down raglan style sweater is made using worsted yarn and a plush stitch for a truly divine sweater for the colder months. Make it into a sweater, or add the optional cowl neck for a turtleneck vibe.

This pattern is available in sizes XS through 5XL. We use Brava Worsted for this design and double ended Tunisian hooks. The Aura Tunisian Crochet hook set comes with two hooks of each size so you can work Tunisian Crochet in the round with all different weights of yarns. You won’t regret investing in them!

Pattern Notes:

Pattern written using US terms.

In Tunisian crochet, the first loop on hook counts as a st and is included in st count.

Work in a spiral throughout. The Forward Pass yarn is used to pull up the loops while the Backward Pass yarn works the loops off the hook on the wrong side.

Use stitch markers to mark the four raglan stitches in row 2. Move the markers up each round if you find it helpful.
