Do you have cotton yarn and yearning for an easy-to-crochet bag? This is it, friend! Let’s crochet the Bobbles for Baubles bag today using this new, fun, free crochet pattern!
Bobbles for Baubles Bag
2021 seems to be the year for useful crochet around my house. Whether that’s my Llama dusting mitt, the Pan Protectors, or my new Crochet Snood, I’m happy to create something that makes my home more efficient and helpful as well. Not to mention pretty! 😉
When I first played around with this stitch set, I knew it needed to be made into something fun. The Bobbles for Baubles bag pattern is the perfect answer. Airy enough for produce, sturdy enough to carry notebooks, and a great size for either.
For this bag pattern we are using cotton yarn – I am using my favorite, Dishie cotton, in the Creme Brulee colorway.
Pattern Notes:
Pattern written using US terms.
Cluster = dc4tog in same st. Description below:
Yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two. (This is essentially completing the first half of one double crochet stitch.)
2. Repeat number one in the same stitch/space until you have a total of 5 loops on your hook.
3. Yarn over, pull through all 5 loops at once.
