During these stiflingly hot summer months, spending time in the water is a must. We spend many an afternoon at Grammy’s pool or weekends at the lake with friends. Whether you’re at the pool, camping at the lake, or lucky enough to be out on a boat, you’re going to have sunscreen, bug spray, goggles, towels, and who knows what else. Whip up something to carry it all in with this free Summer Bag Crochet Pattern!
Summer Bag Crochet Pattern
While preparing for a recent trip to the lake with our boys, I realized that I didn’t have a designated bag to hold all of our sunscreens and bug spray. It’s nice to have it all in one place and these bright, contrasting colors of Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie screamed BUG SPRAY BAG to me. So, I grabbed my hook and whipped up this summer bag pattern on the way to the lake… and here we are.
I have made this Summer Bag pattern available in three different sizes. The small size is perfect for the kids to carry their goggles and a small shovel, etc. The medium size is perfect for sunscreen, bug spray, an extra pair of sunglasses, etc. And the large summer bag can fit up to FOUR beach towels! Dang!
