Are you ready for the third cloth in our year-long series?! The Bobblet Cloth is the NEW cloth of the month, and I just know you’ll love it!

Bobblet Cloth

Each new cloth in the series will be published on the second Friday of the month, and will feature Dishie cotton yarn, my new favorite cotton! The cloths from month to month will stay the same size. This is particularly helpful if you decide to use an acrylic yarn and then sew them all together at the end of the year!

As with the other months in this series, all cloths are the same size.

Cloth sizes:

5.5″ x 5.5″ – great for a face cloth or for showering

11″ x 11″ – average washcloth size

18″ x 12″ – dish drying mat, place mat, dusting cloth etc.

Materials:

Dishie Cotton (Swan colorway pictured)
-approx. 32 yards for small
-approx. 128 yards for medium
-approx. 210 yards for large

In order to make all three of these cloths, I used almost exactly two skeins of the Dishie cotton yarn.

Pattern Notes:

The chain at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.

We are using the Bobblet Stitch for these cloths. See a tutorial for the this stitch here.

Eesc = Extra Extended Single Crochet. The video in this post will help should you need it.

  1. I would like to make the cloths but, I can't find the cotton yarn you used..Can you use another 4ply. cotton yarn.. Maybe Peaches n Cream, Crafters Secret or Sugar n Cream which are all cotton..I have used these for dish cloths before.
