Today is the day for part TWO of the Spring Vest Crochet Along! This pattern is broken into two parts, and today we will make the armholes and complete our vest. Grab your completed part ONE and let’s get started!
Spring Vest Part TWO
If you’re playing catch up, find all of the materials for this crochet along, along with the gauge and dates etc, at this post and find part ONE at this post.
For this portion of the pattern, we are working from the underarms up. Before starting on part two, I do recommend holding your piece up to your underarms to see where it lays in the back. If it is too short, add to the length in multiples of two rows. If it is too long for you, remove length in multiples of two rows.
Pattern Notes:
See the video below for further instruction on all of the following:
How to start the “right” side, “center”, and “left” side.
How to sew the shoulders together using the Mattress Stitch.
Remember, the odd numbered rows (the cluster rows) are “right side”.
