BOMBER CARDI FOR KIDS

This cardigan is a bomber style, meaning that it is shorter than average and it runs a bit on the small side. This is all intentional. Please look at the sizing chart to determine which size your little one needs. If you’re wanting this for yourself, you can find the adult size here.

If you would like the cardigan to be a bit longer, add two rows to the body before starting the right, left, and center.

If adding the optional zipper to your kids cardigan, you’ll want to watch this tutorial. Since there is no ribbing on this particular pattern, I just stayed consistent with my placement of the casing, going into the second stitch of each row. If you have questions, be sure to watch the video!

  1. I think it would be really helpful to add pictures of what it should look like after each stage in the project. After completing everything up until the back panel, I realized I have no clue how I am supposed to stitch the shoulders, or if I even have the right shape. I unfortunately have to unravel everything I have and start again with another pattern because I just couldn’t figure this out
  2. I’ve done the whole cardigan but I’m stuck at the collar bit because it doesn’t say anything about the four stitches we missed or sliped stitch over so what do I do with then four remaining stitches that are left the rest of it was easy to follow thank you
  3. I am so confused is this the correct pattern for the Bomber cardigan size 6/8 78 stitches across for the front only 14 rows ??? do not understand your instructions for sleeves I am confused? help is there another pattern somewhere else?
