Have you been looking for the perfect dining room table runner to crochet for your centerpiece this fall? This free crochet pattern is the perfect accessory to your Thanksgiving feast. Let’s make one!
Fall Table Runner Free Crochet Pattern
I enjoy spring and summer, but I absolutely love the fall season. The crisp air, the hoodies, the changing colors, and getting the family together for the holidays. Bring it on!
There’s something about well dressed table settings that makes a home feel cozy and inviting. Especially when we’re all sitting around the table enjoying a feast at family gatherings.
Use this crocheted table runner as the centerpiece for your fall table. Sprinkle in some fall leaves from the floral department of your favorite craft store, and maybe a pumpkin or two. You could even throw in a crocheted pumpkin! 🎃
This stitch set is called the Woven Lattice stitch. When I used this stitch to design the Maddie Ruana (using CotLin yarn also from WeCrochet) I instantly fell in love. I knew then that I would have to incorporate this stitch into home decor this fall. Can you imagine something like this hanging above your kitchen sink as a window treatment?
For this free pattern we are using Comfy Worsted yarn from WeCrochet. This is a size 4/worsted weight 75% Pima Cotton, 25% Acrylic blend that creates a stunning crochet table runner pattern!
I love that it uses worsted weight yarn so that it works up quickly, and uses only single crochet, double crochet, and chains, meaning that it is beginner friendly as well! In fact if you follow along with the Woven Lattice video tutorial here, you’ll just need to start with the number of chains as listed in the pattern below.
I chose a lovely, rich brown (“thicket” colorway) to compliment the colors of fall. You could also use a lovely cream or other neutral color like “ivory” or “parchment” to compliment your decorations. You could even use the bright “fiesta red” and make one for the Christmas season!
Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue, or grab the ad-free, printable version on Etsy or in the Heart Hook Home blog shop. Thank you!
