Well folks, we have made it to December and with that we have reached the FINAL pattern in the 2020 Cloth Series. This month’s cloth is a beauty that works up quickly and is so pretty to look at.

Aligned Clusters CLOTH

Do we get a prize for making it through 2020? I think we should. Alas, I suppose a full set of dishcloths will have to do! 😉

All of the cloths in this 2020 cloth series are designed to be the same size. We use the lovely Dishie cotton yarn from WeCrochet. This is hands down my favorite 100% cotton yarn. This cotton does not shed, it has a great feel to it, a nice sheen, and holds up well.

Cloth sizes:

5.5″ x 5.5″ – great for a face cloth or for showering

11″ x 11″ – average washcloth size

18″ x 12″ – dish drying mat, place mat, dusting cloth etc.

Materials:

Dishie Cotton (Blue colorway pictured)
-approx. 47 yards for small
-approx. 172 yards for medium
-approx. 313 yards for large

In order to make all three of these cloths, I used just shy of three skeins of the Dishie cotton yarn.

Crochet hook in size H/5mm

Gauge: 7.5 Aligned Cluster sts x 11 aligned Cluster rows = 4″ square

Pattern Notes:

The turning chain does not count as a stitch.

For this cloth we are using the Aligned Clusters Stitch. Be sure to watch the video tutorial if you need help!
